WELLINGTON will be back in rugby action in Regional Two South West when they play away to North Petherton under lights on Friday, November 8 (7,30p.m.).

Wellington have not played since they gave 100 per cent leaders Topsham a scare last Saturday week. They eventually lost 35-21 but not before getting within four points of their rivals, having given them a 20-point start in the opening 30 minutes.

Wellington lost the corresponding fixture against Petherton last season 24-22 but won at home 26-17.

Wellington 2nd XV, lying third in Counties Three Somerset South, play at home on Saturday, November 9, against Tor who are fourth (2.30p.m.). The Seconds, also without a fixture last weekend, trail leaders Castle Cary by eight points.

Wiveliscombe, fourth in Counties One Western West, are home to second-placed Plymouth Albion Oaks with a 2.30p.m. kick-off, while Wiveliscombe 2nd XV are also home - to Weston super Mare 3rd XV - and will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent record at the top of the table (2.30p.m.). Wiveliscombe have won all five of their matches this season, showing the all-round playing improvement within the senior section of the club under head coach Rob Weaver this season.
