WELLINGTON, the footballing section of the local cricket club, lost their 100 per cent record in the first division of the Taunton Saturday Football League when they slumped 7-5 at home to title rivals Middlezoy Rovers Athletic at the Playing Field.

It means Middlezoy are now the new leaders of the division. They have a two-point lead over the Reds who have dropped to fifth place on goal difference but have a crucial game in hand.

Reds play Porlock Reserves in the second round of the Taunton Saturday League's Rowbarton Charity Cup on the 3G pitch at the Bridgwater College Academy on Friday, November 8 (8p.m.).
