WELLINGTON will be chasing their third successive win in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western League when they play at home to Brixham AFC on Wednesday night, October 2.
Wellington have beaten Torpoint Athletic and St Blazey in recent weeks but in between lost 3-1 at home to Sidmouth Town in the FA Vase.
A home game against Barnstaple Town on Wednesday, September 18, was abandoned after an hour’s play because of a floodlight failure - a problem which has now been fixed.
Wellington are lying 15th in the Premier Division while Brixham are eighth, both sides having played 11 matches.
Wellington A are also in action on Wednesday night when they play Taunton Saturday League champions Redgate in the League KO Cup at the Bridgwater College Academy at 8p.m.
The sides also play each other in the Premier Division this coming Saturday at the Kingsdown Pavilion (2.30p.m.).
