MORE than 100 members took part in the Andrew Gadd Challenge Trophy whch was staged at Oake Manor Golf Club last Saturday.
The winner of the event was Dave Hill who won Division One with 41 points, while Rob Larcombe came second with 38 points and Ben Chinn was third with 37 points.
In Division Two the first five players all scored 40 points but on count back Andrew Thompson came first, Wayne Milton was second and Robert Parker was third.
Toby Berry was the winner of Division Three with 40 points, while Andrew Cleland was second with 39 points and Martin Ayliffe came third with 37 points.
In the Sunday club Stableford competition, Richard Connelll was the winner with 40 points. Sam Prior came in second with 38 points while Barry Roberts was third with 37 points.
Andy Avis won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford competition, scoring 38 points. Ex-Wellington rugby player Robin Trott came in second with 35 points, while Owen Irish, a former footballer with Taunton Town, was third, also with 35 points.
The weather has been appalling for the past ten days but it has not dampened the spirit of players who have continued to play in competitions despite the rain and wind - and the cold!
