WELLINGTON will be looking to bounce back after their heavy defeat at Newton Abbot when they play at home to Wadebridge Camels in Regional Two South West on Saturday, September 21 (3p.m.).

Wellington’s head coach Graham Dawe, who missed the game last weekend, said: “We lost Will Brewer after only a few minutes at Newton Abbot through injury and it’s never good to lose your scrum half so early. Obviously we had to change things around with players playing out of position..

“We also had players who could not travel. Vice-captain George Hodgson will be back and, hopefully, other players will be returning. Wadebridge have a similar record to us so it should be a good game.”

Wellington 2nd XV are away to Wyvern in Counties Three Somerset South.

Meanwhile, Wiveliscombe will be aiming to maintain their 100 per start to the season when they play at home to Barnstaple 2nd XV in Counties Western West.

Having beaten Penryn and Pirates Amateurs in their opening two games, Wiveliscombe will be looking for a hat-trick of victories. It is a big difference than last season when they struggled before Christmas and were bottom of the table.

Wiveliscombe 2nd XV play at home to Morganians in Counties Four Somerset South.
