SCUPPAS delivered a huge win over leaders Ex-Servicemen to move within five points of the top of the Chris Bullock Championship of the Wellington Ex-Services Skittles League.

Scuppas 392, Ex-Servicemen 388: Scuppas were a pin to the good at the halfway stage, and again they saw star player John barker lead the way with a great 60 to help Scuppas hit their highest home score so far this season.

Mowers 386, Foresters 337: Nigel Dobson was the player of the match with his 57 for Mowers helping the home side hit a strong score on the Football Club alley. Andy Pitman played well for Foresters with 52 in their chase.

WRFC 359, All Stars 325: Dave Huggett’s 53 was the highlight for the home side, helping the Rugby Boys to a decent total on their tricky home alley. Laim Milton scored 46 for All Stars.

United Services 411, Home Guard IV 374: United Services got back to their destructive best on the White Horse alley, hitting a score over 400 for the seventh time on that alley so far this season.

Here 4 the Beer 327, Nynehead Club 323: Adam Morgan hit a vital 45 for the home side whilst Malc Turner scored a strong 52 in the Nynehead chase.

Odds and Ends 363, Outsiders 377: Theo Ling hit 57 for Odds and Ends, helping his side to a decent score. Outsiders found the alley more to their liking, with Robbie Larcombe producing a player of the match score with his 60.

League leaders Cottage Pies maintained their grip on the Gerald Thorne Championship with a hard-fought victory over Club Rockers, moving nine points clear at the top.

Cottage Pies 341, Club Rockers 330: Gary Escott was the top scorer for the league leaders with 48 on a difficult night for the Pies who weren’t near their usual scoring rate.

Holywell Lake 409, Home Guard IV 368: Ryan Skeels scored a superb 67 for the Lakers, who have now hit over 400 four times now in home games on the downstairs alley of the Victoria Arms. Home Guard II knew they would need to tray and go big to claim the win, and skipper Paul Williams led the way with 57 for his side, but it was not to be on the night.

Reservists 372, Queens Legs 375: Kevin Sedgbeer hit 56 for the home side, who went on to record a strong score on the notoriously tricky Rockwell Green alley.

Bell Green 356, Rebels 367: Wil Essex was a highlight for the Bee Gees with 54, but the home side fell short of their usual scoring. Rebels saw Baz Winter score a well-deserved 58 to help take the points on offer.

Fireguard A 336, OBA 339: Dan Taylor was the top scorer of the match with his 48 for the home side, but it was not to be enough on the night. Steve Walters and Andy Kemp both hit 46 in the OBA.

Oaks 373, Hot Shots 339: Iain Andrews was the player of the match with his 53 for Oaks helping them to a big win.

Relyon 341, Report Centre A 311: Mike Hutchings hit a great 58 for the Bedders to help the home side put themselves out of sight in what was going to be a difficult chase for RCA.
