WELLINGTON will be looking for back-to-back wins when they play at home to Bridgwater United in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm).
Wellington boss Tim Legg said after last weekend’s 3-2 home win over Ashton & Backwell: “It was another fantastic performance but this time we got the result to go with it.
“The difference between this game compared to others recently where we haven’t won was more creativity in the final third coming from Sam Towler and Douglas Camilo, who set up good opportunities which were finished off well.
“It was an important result with Ashton trying to climb the table. They had some good momentum with them with recent new management and good results in the past couple of weeks.
“I would also like to mention the incredible atmosphere and support at the club last Saturday. It really spurred the lads on having a good attendance and we appreciated it.”
