AS expected, Wellington’s Somerset Premier Cup quarter-final away to Larkhall Athletic tonight (Wed) has been called off because of heavy rain.

It is the second time in a week that the tie has been postponed because of the bad weather.

Wellington will now be hoping that the rain eases before Saturday’s home game against Falmouth Town in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League.

The Cornish side hammered Wellington 8-0 earlier this season.
