WELLINGTON Town Under 12s produced their best performance of the season as they stormed to a stunning 6-0 away victory over Huish Tigers.

Having suffered two defeats to the Tigers earlier in the season, Wellington turned the tables in emphatic fashion with a new formation proving to be a game-changer.

The visitors made a blistering start, racing into a 2-0 lead within just seven minutes as Felix Emes twice rounded the keeper to find the net.

Theo Windsor, making his return after missing several matches, marked his comeback in style by adding Wellington’s third.

Emes continued his incredible display, adding two more goals before half-time to complete a first-half hat-trick and send Wellington into the break with an unassailable 5-0 lead.

Six minutes after the restart, Emes struck again—his fifth of the match—securing an unforgettable result for his side.

Wellington could have widened the margin even further, with Arthur House seeing an effort cleared off the line, Charlie McAlpine having two shots denied in similar fashion, and Freddie Andrews rattling the crossbar with an audacious scissor-kick attempt.

At the other end, Wellington’s defense stood firm, with Reuben Prouse delivering a commanding display to shut down the Tigers’ attacks.

Elliott Tooze also played a crucial role, making a heroic last-ditch tackle to deny a dangerous break, though he unfortunately picked up an injury in the process.
