ROCKWELL Green Shortmat Bowls Club visited Trull for a four-mat friendly, a party atmosphere was in full swing as one of Trull’s members was 90 years old.

Kicking things off (Green names first ) Graham, Dave D and Mike R ran out 9-4 winners against Lona, Evan and Mike.

Syd, Christine and Bob matched with Steve, Malcolm and A.N. Other. Green won 6-4 in what turned out to be the tightest game of the evening.

Returning to play again, Syd, Dave D and Bob beat Evan, Steve and Mike 9-5 .

Last to play, Graham, Mick and Brian found Carole, David and Heather far too hot.

TrueGreen trio took the first two end but Trull took the remainder of ends for a home 10-3, the biggest win of the evening,

As always,it was a tight match against Trull, the Green winning 26-23 with just three shots between the sides .
