COTTAGE Pies will be looking to end a run of three successive defeats in Wellington Ex-Services Skittles League’s Gerald Thorne Championship when they play away to Queens Legs at the Conservative Club (upstairs) on Friday, February 14.

Despite their loss of form, Pies still have a three-point lead at the top of the table. Match of the day in this division, however, is the clash between Holywell Lake, in third spot, and Reservists, who are lying fourth, only one point adrift of their rivals.

There is another big game in the Chris Bullock Championship on Thursday, February 20, when reigning champions Mowers play Ex-Servicemen at Wellington Football Club. Mowers, in second spot, are seven points behind Ex-Servicemen and must win this game if they are to continue their fight to retain their league trophy.
