WELLINGTON Ex-Services Skittles League has made a £1,000 donation to St Margarets Hospice.

League president Andrew Govier and vice-chairman David Derrick handed over a cheque for this mouth to David Jones at the league’s annual presentation night at the football club.

The league has a proud record of donating money to worthy causes over the years.

Thirteen triples teams competed for the Graham Jennings Shield on the night with the Scuppas trio of John Barker, Roger Howe and Chris Morter beating Outsiders in the final to take prize money of £100.
