THE semi finals and finals of Wellington Ex-Services Skittles League’s Harry Dowson pairs and Cyril Hicks singles competitions will take place on the downstairs alley of the Victoria Arms on Wednesday, April 17
The running order for the singles and the draw for the pairs semi finals will take place on the night. The pairs semi finalists are as follows: Paul Desborough/Andy Chappell (All Stars), Angus Cleland/Alan Sydenham (Shooters), Darren Sparks/Kevin Sedgebeer (Reservists), Jamie Milton/Luke Eggar (All Stars). The six finalists for the singles are as follows: Paul Desborough (All Stars), Kevin Sedgebeer (Reservists), Lee Ellis (Cottage Pies), Steve Dowson (Holywell Lake), John Barker (Scuppas), Theo Ling (Odds and Ends).
The itinerary for the evening is: 7.15 First Harry Dowson Pairs Semi Final, 7.45 Second Harry Dowson Pairs Semi Final, 8.15 Cyril Hicks Singles Semi Final, 9.15 Harry Dowson Pairs Final, 9.45 Cyril Hicks Singles Final, Good luck to all players!
Paul Deborough and Andy Chappell, of All Stars, were the highest scoring pair in the second round. Paul hit 48 and his partner Andy 52 in going through to the semi-finals.
