THE Jets are off the mark at last in the Wellington Winter Pool League.

After losing their opening 12 matches they finally came good against Here for the Beer, beating their rivals 8-7 with Robert Powell and Bradley Ellison winning all their games. However, they remain 11 points adrift at the bottom.

Andy Dart potted two total clearances to secure an 8-7 win for the division leaders Pot Blacks against Old Blues.

SS Squad closed the gap on second position after their 13-2 win over Pocket Rockets with Darren Copp making an 8 ball clearance while Ed Williams also knocked in a total clearance and a hat trick to boot to help Mutts Nutts to defeat Changing Lanes 9-6.

Legends were on fine form with Carl Wood and Ken Rixon knocking in hat tricks in a 11-4 win against Two Tees while Fran Radford and Rich Maslen won all their games for Snipers who beat Rows Rebels 9-6.
