THE Millichamp and Hall cricket team comprising of owner Rob Chambers, several of his bat makers, plus a few special guests including former Somerset bowler Steve Kirby, will be heading for the sun over the weekend of October 11 to defend the Ibiza T10 title they won in 2023.

All monies raised from the tournament will go to the Ruth Strauss Foundation (RSF) set up by ex-England cricket captain Sir Andrew Strauss following the diagnosis and sad death, of his wife, Ruth, with non-smoking lung cancer.

The Foundation aims to support families as they prepare for the death of a parent as well as to raise awareness of the disease and the need for more research.

Ibiza Cricket Club are hosting the first overseas fundraising event for the Foundation, at their beautiful cricket ground in San Lorenzo

The teams taking part are Ibiza, London New Zealand, Wimbledon Rebels, The Absolute Badgers and Millichamp and Hall.

In addition to the tournament which is generously sponsored by the Ibiza Tourist Board the club will be putting on a number of fun games aimed at introducing youngsters to cricket.
