LAND Girls won the KO Cup and finished runners-up in the Wellington Ladies Skittles League.

They beat Split Pins by 21 pins in their final match to make sure of a second-place finish.

Jolly Blues came out on top in the 11 team competition which proved exciting until right towards the end. At one stage. five teams were fighting it out for the title.

The league held its presentation night last Friday when 101-year-old Madge Covey was the main guest.
