OAKE Manor Golf Club had a “Breakfast Texas Scramble” where all 108 golfers sat down for a full English breakfast before playing a fourball Texas Scramble with a shot gun start.

Sam Briggs, Jack Grant, Joe Lawer and Daniel Mayo won with a score of 51. In second place were Ashley Evans, Michael Holly, Johnathon Owen and Andy Stevenson with 52 while third were Robert Cornish, Michael Osguthorp, Andrew Thompson and Vincent Tydings with 53.

Daniel Moore won the Sunday Stableford with 41 points, Neil Hallett came second with 40 points and Neil Blackmore was third with 39 points.

In the Ladies Sunday Stableford Kathy Salway was the winner with 33 points, Amanda Mather second with 32 points while Claire Tough third with 27 points.

The Ladies were given the choice on Tuesday of either playing a nine or eighteen hole Stableford Competition. Jill Ramus won the nine hole competition scoring 17 points, Gill Nicholls came second with 15 points while Sue Corlett was third with 10 points. Janet Howe scored 33 points to win the eighteen hole competition with Kathryn Smith coming second with 32 points and Amanda Mather third with 31 points.

Christian Hopwood won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford with 37 points with Neil Blackmore (35 points) second.
