WIMBLEBALL Sailing Club is again offering week long sailing courses during the school summer holidays this year.

The popular Wimbleball Osprey training courses for 8 to 18 year olds run during the May and July/August holidays. The series of five day courses follow the Royal Yachting Association’s (RYA) stages and are safely run by fully trained Instructors managing small groups tailored to a child’s ability.

No prior experience of sailing is required as they will receive both practical and theory instruction with close supervision to build their confidence and sailing skills.

Mums and dads just have to drop the children off, armed with suitable clothing (wetsuits) and a packed lunch, and pick them up later.
