ASDA has announced price reductions to its key Easter vegetable lines which have been rolled back to 8p.

The price drop at the Longforth Road store will support families who will be doing shopping ahead of the Easter weekend.

From Tuesday, April 15, the 8p offer on five key Easter veg lines will be accessible to all shoppers – no member pricing or need for a loyalty card.

Available in-store and online while stocks last, customers will be able get 1kg carrots, one swede, 360g broccoli, 500g parsnips and 2kg potatoes for just 8p each, on Rollback, across the entire Easter Bank Holiday weekend, until Monday, April 21.

A representative of Asda said: “Putting the customers’ needs first, Asda is dedicated to offering families market-leading prices not just at Easter but all year round, resulting in Which? recently naming Asda the cheapest of the traditional supermarkets for a larger shop, for the third month in a row – so far, unbeaten this year.

“It isn’t just unbeatable value that the supermarket is offering but high quality too, after being named the overall winning supermarket in the biggest ever Good Housekeeping Institute Easter Taste Test 2025.

“Asda works together with farmers to agree on a fair price all year round. Discounts on veg such as this, at times of the year like Easter and Christmas when families need it most, is an investment made by Asda and doesn't impact seasonal prices agreed with its growers.”

Customers do not need a loyalty card to access the price reduction, which is now available in-store and online.
