THE owner of local business Crafty Country Fox is hosting a pop-up indoor Christmas craft market on Thursday, December 19.

The market will feature a number of local artisans including Devon jeweller Francessca Mack Smith, oil painter Tilly Willis, and design boutique The Wood Nest, at The Globe Inn in Appley

Event host Anna-Lisa De'Ath said: “I realised there was nowhere in our neighbourhood where locals could come and shop without having to travel far, or where small local businesses could showcase their work.

“I thought it would be a great idea to hold an indoor craft market at The Globe Inn to offer an opportunity for local artisan makers to exhibit their products in a warm, cosy environment that was easy to find and easy to park at.

“Not only can visitors browse a selection of unique and original handmade gifts in the warm and cosy surroundings of The Globe, but they can also enjoy a pint, a Prosecco or even a mulled wine and a mince pie in the pub at the same time.”

The free event will run from 12pm until 5pm and will offer an original range of handmade gifts for every budget, including paintings and prints, handmade soaps, and gifts for coffee lovers.
