GET ready for an unforgettable night of music as the Wellington Operatic Society proudly presents their latest production, Wow! That's What We Call the Big Hits. 

Running from Wednesday, November 6 until Saturday, November 9, at the Wellington Arts Centre, the upcoming show promises performances of the all-time biggest hits.

A representative of the arts centre said: “This toe-tapping show promises a journey through some of the greatest chart-toppers and classic anthems of all time.

“The talented cast, made up of local performers, will bring to life a selection of iconic songs that have defined generations. 

“Whether you're a fan of 60s classics or modern-day hits, there’s something for everyone.”

There are four evening performances starting at 7.30pm, as well as a matinee showing on Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm.

The Operatic Society states on its website that was founded in 1962 and it’s first show was O Ye Gods

Since then it has entertained audiences at The Wellesley with popular, classic musicals, such as Oklahoma, My Fair Lady, Anything Goes, Show Boat, Oliver, South Pacific and Singing in the Rain, as well as lesser known shows.
