Taunton Brewhouse is offering an adult ballet class which will be ideal for people revisiting after a long break or seeking to learn a new skill.

This class is designed for individuals at all levels. If you are a complete beginner, don’t worry, their sessions will guide you through the basics at a comfortable pace. 

For those who have danced before and are eager to brush up on their techniques, this is the ideal setting to refine your movements and take your skills to the next level. 

Whatever your experience, you will find a welcoming space where artistry and discipline come together in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere.

The classes are led by the talented Lucy Hartland-Mann, an experienced instructor known for her engaging teaching style and passion for the art of ballet. 

Lucy graduated from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, where she was awarded a scholarship to pursue her training in Dance. More recently, she completed a BA (Hons) in Dance Education at the Royal Academy of Dance.

She specialises in teaching and performing various styles, including Lyrical, contemporary, commercial, street dance, community ballet, dance fitness, creative movement, movement exploration, choreography, and musical theatre and production dances.

Lucy’s approach is focused on making ballet accessible and fun, while maintaining the elegance, grace, and discipline that the form requires. 

At the class, you’ll learn to express yourself through movement, improve your posture and flexibility, and gain a deeper understanding of ballet’s foundational principles.
