ASHBRITTLE Arts is set to host three renowned folk artists for an upcoming concert in the village church.
The musicians, Terence O’Flaherty, Will Allen, and saxophonist Pete Stacey, will gather at The Church of St John the Baptist, Ashbrittle, on Thursday, April 10 at 7pm for an evening of balladry from around the UK.
Attendees will have the chance to hear from the Irish folk, jazz and funk performer, Terence O’Flaherty, grinding Morris tunes and haunting Playford airs from Will Allen, and from Pete Stacey, the audience will witness a range of Welsh folk, to Indian sitar sounds, exploring the worlds of music, improvisation and jazz.
