THE UK’s largest theatre-in-education company has visited a Wellington primary school to perform Rudyard Kipling’s tale, The Jungle Book.

M&M Theatrical Productions visited St John’s C of E Primary School on Tuesday, March 25, to entertain both children and staff with their production of the classic children’s story.

For some, it was their first time witnessing a live show, but all the children were familiar with The Jungle Book story as they had enjoyed it for this year’s World Book Day.

Headteacher Olly Priestly said: “M&M Productions have become yearly treat for those at St John’s, and the enrichment the children gain from this experience is priceless.

“We have already booked them in for next year and feel this is a very valuable element to our school curriculum.”
