FRIENDS of Reminiscence Learning are looking for volunteers to join their fundraising group and help make a real impact in the community.

The Tonedale-based charity is seeking new volunteers to be part of a team dedicated to supporting dementia care, memory programs, and outreach for families and individuals in need.

The charity is particularly keen to take on volunteers who have experience in event planning and fundraising with the hope of hosting future quiz nights, charity dinners and social events.

The group also hope to increase their community engagement, working with local groups and schools to expand their reach and support base.

A representative of the charity said: “Together, we can drive change and make a difference in our community, one event, one connection, and one generous act at a time.”

Reminiscence Learning was founded by Occupational Therapist Fiona Mahoney in 2001 to provide specialised dementia care, activity and reminiscence.
