THE RIVERTONES Harmony Chorus is running a “free, fully funded” singing course this October.

The 30-member group performed live at the Eat Wellington Festival on Saturday to promote their forthcoming course.

The local Taunton-based chorus performs at concerts and weddings amongst other events.

Peter Gover, Musical Director of The Rivertones, says: “I think there is something particularly beneficial about the Barbershop singing that The Rivertones perform. There’s real technique to it and it makes you think. But most importantly it’s very fulfilling and it’s fun!”

“So if you live close to Taunton and fancy having a go at unaccompanied harmony singing, we are running a free, fully-funded six-week course from 24 October 2024.”

More information on how to sign up can be found on The Rivertones Facebook page, at therivertones.org.uk or by contacting The Rivertones membership secretary, Peter Elliston.
