WIVELISCOMBE’S former rugby skipper Frank Norman is currently spending time in Australia.

Norman, who plays mostly in the back row, has also played for Minehead Barbarians.

He is one of three or four key players from last season who are not playing for Wivey this winter.

Others include wingers Jake Sharland, who has retired, and Sam Gibbs (now with Cullompton), and full back George Rowe (North Petherton).
