WELLINGTON'S hopes of winning their third away game in eight days were dashed when they lost 3-1 away to Brixham in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League this afternoon (Sat).
But manager Richard Cherry was far from disappointed.. He said: "We had 11 players who could not play for us today. It was a game too far.
"The boys have gained in confidence in recent weeks - we've turned the corner."
Wellington, who went ahead in the 26th minute with a headed goal by skipper Kieran Bailey, will finish 15th in the table following Cherry's first season in charge.
