THERE is a full programme of matches in the Somerset Women’s Football League this coming weekend, November 3.

Improving Wellington Wildcats, who play in the first division, will be hoping to win their fifth game of the season when they play away to Paulton Rovers Reserves, who are lying second from bottom.

Wildcats are sixth in the table and trail the leaders Wells City, who have played one more match, by six points.

Wells play at home to Bath City Women’s Development, who have won only one of their opening six fixtures.

In the third division, Wellington Ladies have a home game against Watchet Town Ladies who are just above them in the table. Watchet are fifth in the seven-team division and Wellington are sixth.

Staplegrove, who have a 100 per cent record in the division, are away to Porlock Ladies who are third in the table with four wins from their first six matches.

Birdport Ladies, who top the second division with seven victories from their eight games, play at home to Burnham United Ladies. Bridport beat Wincanton Town Ladies 9-1 with a splendid display at home last weekend.
