WELLINGTON put up a spirited fight before losing 12-5 at home to Weston super Mare in their second group match in the Somerset Cup yesterday (Sat).
The home side trailed only 7-5 at half time and should have gone ahead early in the second half when they applied pressure.
It was Wellington's first defeat in the five-team groupl.
