WELLINGTON Squash Club first team visited Weston String Strokers in a top of the table clash in division 2 of the Somerset Squash league on Monday.

Natalie Lawrence at 1 played a gruelling five-game match but lost 13-15, 15-8, 15-12, 12-15, 12-15. James Wilkie at 2 lost 14-16, 11-15, 12-15; Andrew Carpenter at 3 also went the full distance but lost 15-13, 12-15, 7-15, 15-6, 6-15; Mike Broom at 4 lost 12-15, 13-15, 10-15 and Tom Hendy at 5 lost 16-14, 6-15, 10-15, 5-15. Final score: Weston 18 Wellington 5.
