ROCKWELL Green Shortcut Bowls Club were pleased to welcome Trull players and supporters for their first home match of 2024 to be played over 4 mats & 10 ends. 

First up (Green names first ) Cedric, Joy & John  Y  played  David, Steve & Mike on mat 1. The Green started well taking a 4 on end 3  then pressed home their advantage to lead 10—5 after 8. Trull did come back over last two ends to make the final score 10—7 to the home trio.

 On Mat 2, Mick, Reg & John St were matched with Heather, Edna & Malcolm. It was a game of nip & tuck, with neither side gaining an advantage with scores level after 8 ends. The Green then got lucky & took the last two ends to gain an 11---7 win with the Green holding a 21-14 lead..

The restart saw Bill, Dave D & Bob doing battle with Carol, Steve & David.  It proved to be a very tight  game with most ends only scoring one shot. The Green, however, just held sway to gain a 7-5 victory . Last up Mat 4 Lauraine, Cass & Mike played against Lorraine, Evan & Les and they triumphed 19-1.

Overall Rockwell triumphed 47-20..
