COMPETITIONS have mostly been a wash out at Oake Manor Golf Club because of torrential rain.

The Senior Section played an Order of Merit Stableford. Tony Staple was the runaway winner with 44 points, five points ahead of anyone else. John Beer came second in division 1 with 38 points while Michael Bright was third, also with 38 points.

Mark Howard won division 2 scoring 39 points with Meredith Collins came second with 35 points while four players were tied with 33 points but on count back Ian Ramus came third.

Nathan Gulley won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford with 38 points, with Owen Irish second and Richard Beesley third.
