SOME hardy Oake Manor golfers braved the bitter frosty conditions to play in the weekend competitions.

The first three players in the Saturday Stableford Competition all scored 35 points, but on count back Kevin Ward came first, Adam Cornish was second and Martin Adams was third.

Matthew Bright won the Sunday Stableford Competition with 33 points. John Wall came second also with 33 points but losing on count back while Terry Davies was third with 32 points.
