WELLINGTON United ended their league programme in Division Three of the Under 12 section in the Taunton & District Youth League on a high with a 7-0 home win over Rhode Lane Wanderers.
From the off Wellington applied great pressure on the visitors with Harry Newstead finding the back of the net within the first two minutes, with an assist from Zach Wright.
And shortly after United followed up with another from Sonny Rich assisted by Jack Farrington, meaning the hosts were 2-0 up after only five minutes.
With Wellington dominating the game Sonny Rich once again found the back of the net, assisted by Jack Farrington. The game levelled out for the remainder of the half ending 3-0 at the interval.
The second half began with the visitors conceding a penalty which was slotted home by Harry Newstead.
On 40 minutes Wellington had a set piece taken by centre back Oscar Boucher who also caught the rebound with a great strike to put the hosts 5-0 up.
With United firmly applying the pressure Rhode Lane conceded another penalty three minutes later which was converted by Sonny Rich putting the youngster on a hat trick.
Wellington kept up the pressure only for the visitors to concede yet another penalty, which was calmly put away by Harry Newstead for him to also complete his hat-trick.

Victory enabled United to stay fifth in the table, but the three teams below them still have games to play.
At the other end of the table, Street have won the title with a 100 per cent record from their 14 matches.
