WELLINGTON Town's hopes of a top-three finish in South Division of the Western Counties Floodlit Youth Football League suffered a blow when they lost 3-1 at Cheddar last night (Wed).

It meant the South Somerset side moved above them in the table with Wellington dropping back to fourth.

Wellington are back in action next Thursday, May 9, when they play at Winscombe who are second from bottom.

Wellington have one more game after this - at home to Chard Tow are are lying second, date and venue still to be confirmed.

Yeovil Town top the table, having lost only one of their 12 matches.
