WELLINGTON Reserves were desperately unlucky to lose 1-0 away to leaders Lapford in the Premier Division of the Devon & Exeter Football League.
Wellington looked like earning a point until Lapford scored from the penalty spot in the 87th minute.
Victory enabled Lapford to stay eight points clear of second-placed Clyst Valley and to maintain their 100 per cent home record.
Wellington. in fifth spot, are not back in action until they play at home to Feniton on Wednesday, April 16.
