WELLINGTON will be looking to maintain their position in the top half of the table when they play at home to AFC St Austell in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League on Saturday, December 14 (3p.m.).
Despite losing some form in recent weeks, Wellington are currently in ninth spot, having been as high as sixth this season. St Austell are fourth from bottom with only six wins in 19 outings.
Wellington were due to play at Brislington last weekend but the game was one of many postponed because of Storm Darragh.
Before this Wellington had lost their last two matches in cup competitions to first division opposition - 4-0 to Mendip Broadwalk and 3-1 to Cheddar - both at home. Previous to this they lost 4-1 at home to Bridgwater United in a league game.
These results followed one of Wellington's best spells in years - a run of eight successive victories, six of them coming in the league.

Meanwhile Wellington Reserves play away to Wells Cith Reserves in the Somerset Senior Cup - a tie which should have been played last weekend but was another victim of the atrocious weather.
Wellington A are involved in a basement battle when they play away to Porlock in the Premier Division of the West Country Drainage Services Taunton & District Saturday League.
Wellington hauled themselves away from the relegation zone by hammering North Petherton 8-2 at home a fortnight ago. Porlock are lying second from bottom and were involved in a 5-5 home draw in their last match at home to Stalegrove Reserves.
Wellington Reds, the footballing section of the local cricket club and lying sixth in Division One, having played only five matches, are away to Norton Fitzwarren who are ninth, having won only two of their 11 fixtures.
Wellington side Moortown are without a match in the Somerset Sunday League. They are holding fourth spot but have played only six times this season.
Wellington Wildcats could go top of the first division in the Somerset Women's Football League if they win away to Banwell Ladies on Sunday. Wildcats are lying second in the table, only one point behind leaders Wells City, both sides having played the same number of games.
Wellington Ladies are home to third-placed Combe St Nicholas in Division Three South.
