THE Toolstation Western Football League made presentations to three of Wellington’s committee members at its annual presentation night at the Beambridge Inn on Saturday which was attended by about 100 members and guests.

Colin Waller, a former first team goalkeeper, Mike Bull and Neil Jenkins have all been associated with Wellington for 50 years and received their awards at the club’s annual presentation night, although Neil was not in attendance because he was poorly.

Centre back Tom Ellis won two of the main trophies on the night – the supporters and players’ Player of the Year awards.

Luke Redrup was the first team’s leading scorer with 24 goals in the first division while Jack Bryant was the manager’s choice as player of the year.

The Reserves’ Players’ Player of the Year was Aaron Hawkins while the Ladies’ Players Player of the Year was Tewsday Herbert.

The club’s vice-chairman Graham Aspin won the Club Person of the Year.

Reserves: Leading scorer Ashley Grist, Players’ Player (John Stevens Cup) Aaron Hawkins, Manager;s Player Josh Pearson.
