Both sides play in the Premier Division of the Devon & Exeter Football League. The students are lying fourth in the table while Wellington are eighth, with only four points separating the teams.

Wellington A are away to Wyvern United in the Premier Division of the Taunton & District Saturday League.

Wellington Reds, who play in the first division of the Saturday League, are away to Sporting Weston Reserves in the quarter-finals of the Somerset Intermediate Cup.
