JOLLY Blues, new champions of the Wellington Ladies Skittles League, ended the season in style by beating Geronimo by 46 pins with Sharon Frost top scoring with 51.
The Blues finished seven points clear of their nearest rivals, losing only one of their 20 matches. They won 18 games and drew one.
Land Girls, runners up in the cup, also finished second in the league after beating Wobbly Pins by 47 pins in their final game with Kirsty Popplestone being their leading skittler on the night with 47. Maggie Norris knocked 50 for the Pins.
New cup winners Split Pins finished third after beating Pin & Tonics by 39 pins with Bev Jones ending a great season with a score of 58.
Heather Cook knocked 56 for All Blacks who won by 20 pins against Wanderers.
