WELLINGTON Pétanque Club have formed two teams – Monument and Wellington.

Monument will be captained by Eddie Gonza, an ex-police inspector, and Wellington by Barry Ede, who lives in Burnham-on-Sea and plays at Cheddar, but is also a member of the local club.

The club held their annual meeting at the Rugby Club earlier this month. Not all members turned up, no doubt due to Covid-19.
