WELLINGTON U15s cricket side go into the next ten days with two crucial fixtures against Taunton Deane which is likely to settle the outcome of their season.

Having only been beaten once this season, away at Bridgwater, the Wellington U15 side have been in and around the top two in the Taunton and District Youth Cricket League’s 11 a side division throughout the season - and they are looking and feel confident enough for that to continue.

On Sunday (July 7), Taunton Deane will be the visitors for a 20 overs a side league fixture before the 'big one' when the same opponents, will face off in the U15 area cup final, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 10 July (venue and time tbc).

Having only a squad of 19 players to choose from, and with school matches and other activities making availability a weekly issue, the whole squad has contributed to this successful season.

A mention also goes to other players from younger age groups within the club who have stepped in to play, often at short notice, to enable the team to keep the winning formula in place.
