WELLINGTON will be looking to bounce back after three successive losses in the Bristol/Somerset Diviison of the West of England Cricket League when they play at home to Congresbury on Saturday, June 15 (12 noon).

After a bright start to the season in which they won two of their opening three matches, Wellington seem to have lost their way. They also lost to Chard in the Baker Cup this week which would have been another blow to their confidence.

Wellington have slipped back to eighth in the table while Congresbury are lying fourth after winning four of their opening six matches.

Wellington knew before the season started that playing in the Bristol/Somerset division following promotion was going to be tough. And this is proving to be the case.

Downend, who beat Wellington last weekend, are the current leaders after winning five of their opening six matches. They play away to Clevedon this coming weekend.

They have a nine-point lead over second placed Midsomer Norton who are away to Keynsham.

In other games in the division, third-placed Golden Hill are home to Taunton Deane while Weston super Mare entertain Ilminster
