POLICE in Wellington are investigating several burglary offences where boilers were stolen overnight from homes still under construction off Exeter Road.

Neighbourhood beat Sgt Jon O’Connor said: “This appears to be an organised theft where the boilers were properly drained of all water before removal.

“We are making inquiries into similar modus operandi used both within our force and beyond.”
