A FIRE extinguisher was among items found fly-tipped in a Wellington road on Tuesday (March 5).

The fly-tipping was discovered by Wellington Weekly reader Michael Broom in Oldway Park, off Pyles Thorne Road.

Mr Broom said the pile of rubbish had clearly been dumped overnight on March 4 to 5, just 24 hours before Wellington’s recycling centre was to re-open.
