IT’S show week for WOW! That's What We Call The Big Hits, and excitement is in the air as the cast prepares to take the stage.

Opening night is tonight (Wednesday, November 6) with performances running through to November 9 – and tickets are nearly sold out.

This vibrant production by Wellington Operatic Society has attracted a wide range of talented performers across all ages, bringing a truly diverse and dynamic energy to the show.

Audiences can expect an unforgettable musical journey, with No.1 hit songs from the charts spanning multiple decades and genres, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.

From classic tunes to modern hits, the selection has been carefully crafted to appeal to all tastes and to showcase the vocal range and dedication of this incredible cast.

Wellington Operatic Society was founded in 1962 and has since entertained audiences at The Wellesley with popular, classic musicals, such as "Oklahoma" and "My Fair Lady". The group accept new members on a rolling basis.

The show will take place at the Wellington Arts Centre at 7.30pm from November 6 until November 9 with an additional 2.30pm matinee performance on the Saturday.
