It was the 20th year the festival had been based in the village’s recreation ground, and performers and visitors also used the hall and its facilities throughout the three days of the concert.

An independent real ale bar was also held again in the hall, while camping was located in the recreation ground field where there were shower and toilet facilities.

The weekend featured sing arounds, music sessions, workshops, and the festival folk club’s afternoon tea and cakes with Rita Tremain and Terry Helyar.

Other highlights included stories and ballads with Colin Emmett and Jacqui and Brian Ross, and a festival closing singaround with Mike and Di Dibble.

The proceeds from the occasion will be given to the Home-Start West Somerset charity.
