Court Fields students have sat mock interviews
Year 10 students at Court Fields School in Wellington have taken part on mock interviews to help them prepare for the world of work.
The interviews saw awards handed out to 23 students, with two pupils sharing the top prize after jointly scoring full marks.
A spokesperson for Court Fields School said: "We are so proud of all of our Year 10 students who attended their mock interviews. Their prompt attendance and mature approach demonstrated that they were ready to face the challenge, which for many was quite daunting.
"All students left their interviews with a real sense of achievement, many looking much taller than when they arrived, and the smiles were good to see. Awards were given to twenty-three students, all recognised for an interesting or engaging interview, or for overcoming their initial nerves.
"There were two joint overall winners, Louis T and Tallulah P, scoring maximum points for their answers, appearance, preparation and interaction with their interviewer.
"We have received lots of positive feedback from our interview panel. We are so grateful to them for taking the time to support our students. From both the private and public sector, from local to national organisations, the business community have made a lasting contribution to the future of these students.
"A huge thank you to all of those that got involved, we look forward to welcoming you back to Court Fields School for Mock Interviews 2024. If you are interested in supporting our Careers Curriculum, please get in touch with Charity Hunt, [email protected]."
