FIRMS from across the Wellington and West Somerset areas were among those celebrating this week after they were announced as winners and runners-up in this year’s Somerset Business Awards.

They were named during a glittering gala dinner and presentation held in the Winter Gardens Pavilion, in Weston-super-Mare, on Friday (March 28).

Nearly 400 business people from across Somerset attended the gala evening, which was organised by Somerset Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Global and Heart FM broadcast journalist Cormac MacMahon.

It was the 20th anniversary of the founding of the awards and the 15th year they had been supported by main sponsor Albert Goodman.
